Teaching Philosophy: I am committed to the growth and success of all students who enter my studio. Growth and success are not defined by awards or external recognition, but rather by personal change and development. Through years of successes and failures in teaching, I have discovered that the journey of teaching piano is not a job accomplished by me alone, rather in its most fruitful form, it is a partnership with the parents. The substantial level of parental support, investment, determination, and pride in their child is what allows a child to blossom. There is no perfect child and no two children are the same, they have their own strengths and weaknesses that are worthy of celebration and nurture, but every child shares the incredible capacity for growth. I cheer for each of my children and strive for their success alongside their parents. |
